Melissa Oneil

MelissaMelissa Crystal O'Neil was born July 12, 1988[1].] She is a Canadian actor and singer. O'Neil was the first Canadian woman to take home Canadian Idol's third season in 2005. O'Neil is best known as an actress for her role in the series Syfy as Two as Two RebeccaAs Two / Portia Lin as well as on ABC as Officer Lucy Chen in the ABC procedural drama series The Rookie. She was selected in the bottom three spots and two of the finals. The judges were stunned by this and urged viewers to decide to vote Melissa for her vocal talent. O'Neil was praised for her performances and she didn't drop to the third place. Zack Werner declared that O'Neil was "a threat" to win the whole contest. O'Neil and Rex went on to make it to the final two contestants of the contest on September 7 on the 7th of September in 2005. Following yet another impressive performance, Werner declared that "The King [Kalan Porter] is dead Long live Queen". O'Neil defeated Goudie at the grand finale results showon the 14th of September, 2005. O'Neil was also crowned the third Canadian Idol and the first female winner.
