Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actor and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse as well as Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actor and singer. She is of Polish heritage (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents within the industry of entertainment at a young age. In 1992, she appeared at her first audition. She was successful and got the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent when she was 13 and she got her first role in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. As well as learning in private classes and acting lessons, she started her career around that time. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell appeared in The Crucible, a Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
