Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in One Tree Hill's final three years. Jana Kramer's debut country album were featured on episodes of the show which helped propel her debut album in 2012 to in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200. The follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended with participation in Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, The Self-Doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised in the area, discovered her love for country music. Then she decided to pursue an acting career. Her first role acting in the film Dead/Undead at the age of 22 when she was just a teen. Over the years, she appeared on several series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the second season (2007-2008). Kramer went on to play Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its last season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer was a character on One Tree Hill from 2009 through in 2012. Kramer had signed an agreement with Elektra Records, and she released her modern country-inspired song I Won't Give up in the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. It was later featured in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The song made it to into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She continued to act in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet on Aerosmith helped the album to get even better reviews which saw it reach the top three place in the Billboard 200. In September she stayed for two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth position. The singer also had an adult contemporary hit with the song Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
