American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious hip-hop tracks that addressed sexuality and racial identities with a boldly comedic perspective before broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first musical encounter. She was a trumpet player. The song was is directly linked to the album Awkwafinas NYC, her travel guide for 2015. Apart from being a published author, her other career was as a performer. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered a series of notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP debuted in June.
